Locally Product Updates: September 2023
Custom Ship-to-Store Messaging
Brands offering Ship-to-Store can now add custom messaging for shoppers to better communicate shipping time expectations.
Ship-to-Store can be offered as an option in our Product Locator, which is embedded on your site’s PDP. Shoppers can purchase a product online and have that product shipped from your warehouse for pickup at a local authorized dealer.
Other purchase options in our Product Locator include Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store, Reserve Online, Pay In-Store, and Same-Day Delivery.
Country-Specific Category Filters
Our Store Locator now supports creating customized experiences in different global markets with new country-specific category filters. Clients can now specify that a category only be displayed to shoppers in a specific country, set of countries, or region. When a shopper is outside of that defined area, those category filters will remain hidden.
For example, European teams could create a Store Locator category filter for shoppers in Europe, while the North American team could create a completely different experience for shoppers with a separate set of category filters.
More details about this update and instructions on setting these category filters can be found here.
SwitchLive Now Captures UTM Tags
Clients using our “SwitchLive” live events data pixel can now associate a shopper’s Locally tools usage with specific marketing campaigns utilizing UTM tracking.
If UTM tracking is present during a given session, Locally now captures and includes the associated UTM parameters as a part of the SwitchLive payload. More information can be found here.
Optimized Back Button in Store and Product Locators
Locally’s Store Locator and Product Locator now more closely integrate with a browser’s back button, ensuring a shopper can smoothly navigate back to previous views. This update makes our tools easier to navigate for shoppers and provides a more seamless experience.
