Locally Releases Updated On-Site Product Locator for Brands
For brand partners, one of the most impactful ways Locally drives more sales is with our Product Locator. The Product Locator is embedded directly on your website to direct your online shoppers where to find your products nearby.
Online-to-offline is how consumers are shopping in 2023, and our Product Locator is built to cater to that behavior. The Product Locator not only directs your shoppers to nearby inventory but also allows your shoppers to purchase products for pickup (BOPIS) at one of your authorized dealers without having to leave your website. This on-site solution enables you to:
Decrease customer drop-off
Increase in-store sales
Easily retarget in-store shoppers
Increase customer retention
Locally has recently rolled out updates to our Product Locator to make it more user-friendly for your customers and more effective for you.
The Updated Product Locator by Locally
What Is Included In the Update?
For this new version of our Product Locator modal, we’ve rolled out an updated design that highlights only the most essential information for your shoppers. This update features:
Enhanced Custom Branding
The new modal blends seamlessly with your website, creating a smooth, consistent experience for your shoppers.
Detailed Local Insights
With this update, shoppers will be informed if a dealer’s stock is low. The update will utilize improvements that provide increased clarity regarding all available in-stock color and size variants and prices.
Authorized Dealer Branding
The Product Locator will now feature local retailer logos so shoppers can look for stores they recognize and trust.
New “Save For Later” Feature
Shoppers will now have a “Save For Later” option. They can save the reminder for themselves or send the reminder to a friend.
Impressive Performance
The new modal uses a new react-based front end and was engineered for fast load times and reduced data transfer; it is 2.5 faster than the previous version and uses 8 times less data. It is also powered by a new API that Locally will be making available this year.
